Beyond the Bank

Bank marketing doesn't have to feel like, well...bank marketing.

While at Ripple Marketing, I created a wide range of creative for Frontier Bank, taking an established financial brand across everything from magazine and newspaper advertising to rate postcards, mobile banking promotions, and even a beer label.

Finding Room to Play

Working within an established brand means knowing which pieces need to stay consistent—and where there's room to have a little fun.

Some projects called for clear, straightforward communication. Rate postcards needed to put the offer front and center. Magazine and newspaper ads had to communicate quickly and work across different formats. Mobile banking creative needed to make a digital service feel simple and accessible.

And then there was the beer label.

That project offered a chance to take Frontier Bank somewhere a little unexpected, creating something playful that still felt connected to the brand behind it.

Across each piece, I adapted typography, imagery, color, and layout to fit the message and medium without losing the larger Frontier Bank identity.

The result is a body of work that shows just how far one brand can stretch—from rates and mobile banking to cracking open a cold one.
