Bright and Dark Center needed a website that could grow alongside everything they were building. What began as a redesign of their existing Squarespace site became a much more flexible digital home—bringing their resources, programs, products, and community together in one place.
The project focused on creating an experience that was easier to navigate while giving the Bright and Dark team more ways to connect with the people they serve.
More Than a Website
One of the biggest challenges was finding a way for several different pieces of the business to live together without making the site feel overwhelming.
I redesigned the site around a clearer, more intuitive experience while integrating Shopify to expand its e-commerce capabilities. The finished site brought together an online store, subscription offerings, member-only areas, educational content, and the organization's broader resources within one cohesive experience.
Just as importantly, the site was designed to work across devices and make it easier for visitors to explore, shop, learn, and connect with the Bright and Dark community.
