Designing for Awareness
Graphic Design · Print Design
Good design can do more than catch someone's attention—it can help important information reach the people who need it.
While at Ripple Marketing, I designed an awareness print piece for the South Dakota Parkinson Foundation, creating a polished and approachable way for the organization to share information about its work, resources, and community.
Giving Important Information a Home
For an organization supporting people affected by Parkinson's, the design needed to feel clear and accessible without losing the personality of the foundation's brand.
I focused on creating a strong visual hierarchy that made the information easy to navigate while using imagery, typography, color, and layout to keep the piece engaging and approachable.
The presentation-folder format also gave the organization flexibility, creating a branded piece that could hold additional materials and resources depending on where and how it was being used.
It's the kind of project that reminds me that thoughtful design doesn't always need to be flashy. Sometimes its most important job is simply helping the right information get into the right hands.
